Hope Ministries is hosting our second Celebration of Freedom event on Thursday, July 2nd. The purpose is to honor all of those who have served or are currently serving our country and community. We want to acknowledge our military, police, fire, and EMS for their efforts.
The picnic begins at 5:00 pm and the event starts at 6:00 pm. Special music will be provided by the Christian music group, Mencer, White, and Cheney. US Air Force Chaplain, Captain Jonathan Bell from the 171st Air Refueling Wing, in Pittsburgh, will return again this year as our guest speaker.
Everyone is invited to the Celebration of Freedom, sponsored by Hope Ministries. There is no cost to the public. Come celebrate and thank our heroes.
We will meet in the R.J. Bush Center, behind Mercy Baptist Church, 3474 Pennsylvania Avenue, Weirton, WV.
As a member of the Weirton Chamber of Commerce we commend them for their efforts to promote local businesses and bring events such as ours to the attention of our community.
